Ubere Mama & World of Beatrix Potter - Launching @ PURE Olympia - 16th/18th July. Stand C19!
I have always admired the author and conservationist Beatrix Potter. As a child I grew up listening to all 23 tales-and my top favourites were her first three tales published; The tale of Peter Rabbit, The tale of Squirrel Nutkin , andd vThe Tailor of Gloucester. Mrs Tiggi Winkle always featured, as I wished to be Lucie taking tea with her!
What resonates for me is Beatrix Potters creative use of the outdoors, the animal’s characters and the beautifully coloured illustrations that capture(d) my imagination. Lovingly passed down from my grandmother to me, and now from me on to my son who from being a baby has grown up with these same tales.
That is one of the reasons why I have chosen these tales to collaborate with Ubere Mama. Not only are these tales, iconic, passing through generations of family, but mischievous, fun tales of a long lost era. They are also beautiful illustrations that I have incorporated into my breastfeeding products that mums and babies can also enjoy together whilst breastfeeding.
Sustainability and the care and love of the country side was important to Beatrix potter.
Ubere Mama stands up for sustainability with designs that are made in Britain from organic or recycled yarns.
Caring for the environment and the world for our next generation was as important when Beatrix Potter wrote her books, as it is ever now.
Helping mums breastfeed comfortably anywhere, anytime and anyplace, is encouraging generations of breastfeeding practice to continue on and is still the best start for your baby. (WHO)
Ubere Mamas collaboration with the world of Beatrix Potter has created a timeless and co-ordinated breastfeeding lounge range. The range incorporates printed tops, nightwear/ lounging at home pieces and cosy hoodies for both indoors or outdoors. Each design mixes different prints and colours in beautiful organic fabrics.
This new range launches at Pure Womenswear at Olympia on 16th -18th July in the Sustainable area, Stand C19.
